sustaining Simple

Creating lasting change through surrender, instead of struggle.

So often we...

overcomplicate, overextend and overthink.

We become overworked, overstimulated and, well,

over IT ALL.

Welcome!

Can I offer you a side of tea with your hustle?

Balance: this buzzword that we know we want more of, but we have no idea what that actually looks like in the day-to-day or how to get it.  For most, long term balance doesn’t show up in the from of green juice cleanses or exotic yoga retreats.  While those endeavors can be beneficial, they can also create another set of rules and regulations.  Another to-do.  Another version of swinging the pendulum too far in one direction.

Sustainable balance shows up in the simple; whether it’s foregoing Netflix in favor of extra shut eye, scheduling projects around your highest energy points (aka the first two weeks of your cycle) or running the stairs in your building to ensure some (vs none) movement makes its way into your day.  These are the little tweaks that yield big change.  Honoring where you’re at and working with it creates a path to habit and we are, essentially, a sum of our habits.

In short, the more you embrace simple changes the more likely it is to become a habit and the more sustainable your success

Ready to, well, simply start?   Start with scheduling a free 20 minute call.

My favorite part of the call was just realizing that I am exactly where I need to be right now and that I don’t need to rush things.

I was feeling stuck on how to identify my uniqueness as it relates to my business. I felt like I was projecting too far in the future about what would happen in my business. I was feeling overwhelmed about all of the things I thought I needed to be doing to move my business forward.

What stood out for me was the skill in which you gave me the space to think about how I was feeling, and to quiet the noise in my head by getting out what needed to come out. My favorite part of the call was just realizing that I am exactly where I need to be right now and that I don’t need to rush things.

I feel calmer and more grounded since our call. I feel like the next actions that I take for my business will be coming from that grounded place; not from a place of chaotic thinking.

I surprised myself

I am the last person to think I would be making my own nut milks, turning my phone on Do Not Disturb or ditching my VIP status at Sephora.  Buuut here I am, drinking golden milk lattes, scheduling clients later in the day to give myself enough time to wake-up and using essential oils to create skin care that works better than anything I ever bought off the shelf.  The point, if I can do this, so can you.

My guess is... if you’re here, you’re looking for change, you’ve tried a lot of solutions, but nothing is sticking.  I’m hoping to guide you to the sustainable change that’s been hiding in plain sight.

I’ve been overworked, bone tired, fully wired and completely uninspired.  I know how stuck you feel. I also know how little it actually takes to free yourself.   The more approachable change is the more likely you are to do it and the more you do, the more you do.  Change has a domino effect.  I started out doing yoga to calm my nerves, and now I'm a certified Holistic Health Coach, yoga teacher, life coach and Raw Food Chef.  In summary, I'm living proof of how one small change has a ripple effect in your life.

Here's to you surprising you,

-Melissa
